Tanker Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Tanker Driver to join our team for local load hauling operations. This role involves operating commercial trucks with tanker attachments to transport liquids safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in commercial truck driving, specifically with tanker vehicles, and be comfortable driving manual transmission trucks. This position offers consistent Monday through Saturday work, providing stability and routine in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial tanker trucks to transport liquids to designated locations within the local area.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during daily operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption as required.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding schedules, routes, and any issues encountered on the road.
• Ensure the secure loading and unloading of liquids, following all safety procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of commercial truck driving experience with a focus on tanker operations.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for tanker vehicles.
• Proven experience operating manual transmission trucks.
• Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations related to tanker transportation.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Ability to perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading liquids and vehicle inspections.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining safety standards at all times.

Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,500.00 per week
