We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tape Edge Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating specialized sewing machines to create clean, durable tape edges on various fabric and upholstery materials. Your expertise will ensure that each product meets our high-quality standards and specifications. Duties

• Operate industrial sewing machines, including serging and other seam construction equipment, to apply tape edges accurately and efficiently.
• Measure fabric materials and finished products using precise measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Handle materials carefully during processing, including manual cutting of fabrics and materials handling within the production area.
• Maintain quality standards by inspecting finished tape edges for consistency, neatness, and durability, making adjustments as needed.
• Follow safety standards in production by adhering to proper machine operation protocols and wearing appropriate protective equipment.
• Assist with fabric materials preparation, including cutting and organizing raw materials for sewing operations.
• Support overall garment construction and upholstery processes by collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience with measuring instruments and fabric measurements is essential for precise work.
• Knowledge of quality standards in production, seam construction, and garment sewing is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with machine operation, including industrial sewing machines, serging, and sewing techniques such as embroidery, enhances performance.
• Hands-on experience with materials handling, manual fabric cutting, and upholstery processes is preferred.
• Understanding safety standards in production environments ensures a safe workspace for all team members.
• Prior warehouse experience or manufacturing background is advantageous for adapting quickly to workflow demands.
• Strong attention to detail combined with excellent manual dexterity will contribute to producing high-quality finished products.
