Taproom Bartender & Server

Job Summary:
The Taproom Bartender & Server is a dynamic, customer-focused role responsible for providing excellent service to guests in a lively craft beer environment. This position involves engaging with customers, educating them about our beers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The role requires availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11am to 5pm, as well as rotating Sundays. Candidates should be reliable, outgoing, and able to multitask effectively. A passion for craft beer and strong communication skills are essential. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling, with compensation based on tips and hourly pay.

Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean, friendly, and welcoming environment for all guests at all times
Provide excellent customer service by engaging guests in conversation and enhancing their experience
Assist with function setup, breakdown, and special event needs
Work well independently and as part of a team
Verify customer age and responsibly serve alcoholic beverages
Operate a POS system, including cash drawer maintenance and shift sales reporting
Perform opening and closing duties according to checklists and standard operating procedures
Ensure compliance with all safety and alcohol service regulations
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Knowledge of and interest in the craft beer industry
Experience operating a POS system
Friendly, proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused personality
Ability to stand and walk for long periods
Excellent personal communication skills
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and moving/manipulating 160-pound kegs
Must be 21 or older
Experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred

Pay: From $2.25 per hour
