Tasting Room Associate/Cafe Worker

Job Overview

Sandhill Crane Vineyards is seeking a part-time employee willing to be cross trained as both a cafe worker and tasting room associate. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn about our wines, cafe offerings, and how we serve them to guests while creating excellent customer experiences. We are looking for someone who is customer service oriented, has a positive attitude, works well in a fast paced environment, and is interested in long-term employment with possible advancement. Duties

• -Create a fun, positive, and inclusive environment for all customers
• -Engage and entertain guests, answer any questions, and educate on SCV wines and activities
• -Make wine recommendations and encourage wine sales (we will teach you
• -Work in a fast paced environment, and industrious work ethic
• -Be on your feet for 7+ hours
• -Ability to lift 40+ pounds
• -Perform the highest standard of customer service at all times
• -Able to communicate effectively with customers, staff, and management
• -Keeping up on daily/weekly/monthly cleaning tasks and making sure the winery is always as clean as it can be
• -Keeping wine/food stocked
• -Other duties as assigned
• -Must be available to work weekends
• Passionate about wine, food, and good service!
• Service industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of wine/food prep preferred
• Must be 21 years of age to apply

Pay: From $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
