Tasting Room Server

We are seeking a part-time Tasting Room Attendant at Morais Vineyards and Winery's satellite Tasting Room, Aroma II, in Haymarket. The ideal candidate will be passionate about wine, committed to providing the highest level of customer service, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Wine experience is not necessary, but strong customer service experience and a desire to learn about wine in a working vineyard and winery are essential.

Essential Duties

Customer Service : Greeting customers and attending to them to ensure they receive prompt, courteous and professional service to guarantee they leave with a high opinion of our wines and winery.

Wine Tastings : You will be responsible for pouring our wines to customers while educating them about our wines in an entertaining manner. Your job as a pourer is to interact with tasters and create a connection that both drives the sale of our wine and ensures they have a positive experience.

General: Responsible for maintaining a clean tasting room at all times. Complete opening and closing duties.

* This position requires standing for long periods of time and the ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Job Requirements & Skills

* Must be 21 years of age or older.

* You should be a willing and gracious team player. We have a relatively small staff and everyone here, from the winemaker on down, pitches in whenever necessary.

* You must possess patience and courtesy at all times.

* Strong team player with demonstrated ability to work well with others in a fun and fast paced environment.

* You must be able to work Thursday - Sunday and select holidays.
