Taters Store Manager

About the role

The Store Manager / Area Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of multiple Taters popcorn and snack stalls within an assigned area. The position ensures that all assigned stalls consistently meet Taters' standards for sales, customer service, product quality, cleanliness, inventory management, and operational efficiency. The Store Manager / Area Manager will lead and supervise store personnel, monitor daily operations, analyze sales and operational results, coordinate with cinema management, and ensure that company policies and procedures are properly implemented across all assigned locations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple Taters stalls within the assigned area and ensure all stalls operate efficiently in accordance with Taters' policies, procedures, and operating standards
• Conduct regular visits and store checks to monitor operations, staff performance, cleanliness, product quality, and compliance
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance of assigned stalls and analyze sales results to identify opportunities to improve revenue and profitability
• Develop and implement initiatives to achieve sales targets and monitor product mix, sales trends, and customer demand
• Supervise, coach, motivate, and develop Store Supervisors, Shift Leaders, and store crew
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate availability of popcorn, snacks, beverages, packaging materials, and other supplies
• Ensure proper cash handling and cash management procedures are followed and monitor daily sales and cash reconciliation
• Ensure that all Taters stalls provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service and maintain Taters' standards for popcorn, snacks, beverages, packaging, presentation, and service
• Ensure that all assigned stalls maintain proper cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and overall appearance and ensure compliance with food safety, health, safety, and sanitation requirements
• Maintain good working relationships with cinema management and coordinate operational concerns, schedules, promotions, events, and other matters affecting Taters' stalls

About you

• At least 2–3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in retail, food and beverage, quick-service restaurants, convenience stores, or similar customer-facing businesses
• Experience managing multiple branches, stores, outlets, or locations is highly preferred
• Experience in food service, cinema concessions, or snack/food retail operations is an advantage
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong sales and business acumen
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Able to manage multiple locations and priorities simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Detail-oriented, particularly in inventory, cash handling, and operational controls
