Silver Squid Ink is seeking a licensed Tattoo Artist who is self-motivated, dependable, and ready to put in the work. Having your own established clientele is mandatory for consideration. We provide a structured, professional workspace, but you are responsible for bringing in your clients, maintaining your books, and showing up reliably.

Studio Environment & Location

We have booths that promote comfort and privacy for the artists and clients.

• Support: Structured shop with active, efficient leadership that respects artist input and encourages growth.
• Prime Location: Off Rainbow & Oakey—located just 5 doors down from Beacon Tattoo Supply.
• Schedule: Flexible scheduling available.

Core Requirements

• Must Have Clientele: An existing, loyal client base is required to be considered for this position.
• Work Ethic & Attendance: Punctual, reliable, and driven. We are looking for artists who take initiative and show up consistently.
• Artistic Talent: Versatile portfolio demonstrating strong illustration skills and solid color theory.
• Safety & Operations: Thorough knowledge of sanitation protocols, health regulations, and basic first aid. Ability to manage appointments, handle walk-ins, and keep your station sterile.
• Client Engagement: Great communication, detailed aftercare guidance, and a sales-minded approach to upselling aftercare products.
