Tattslotto Assistant

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team on an ongoing part-time basis.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a TattsLotto outlet or kiosk and be confident handling customer transactions, operating point-of-sale systems, and delivering excellent customer service.

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a busy retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
• Process retail purchases, services, and TattsLotto transactions accurately.
• Assist customers with lotto products, games, promotions, and general enquiries.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash and EFTPOS transactions.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and register balancing procedures.
• Replenish stock, monitor inventory, and maintain attractive product displays.
• Keep the store clean, organised, and presentable at all times.
• Assist with general daily store operations and opening/closing procedures as required.

Skills & Requirements

• Previous experience working in a TattsLotto outlet or kiosk is essential.
• Previous retail, newsagency, or similar customer service experience is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident handling cash, EFTPOS payments, and POS systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing transactions.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage responsibilities effectively.
• Friendly, polite, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, honest, and trustworthy.
• Ability to remain organised and efficient during busy periods.
• Availability to work both weekdays and Saturdays on a rotating roster.

What We Offer
