Tax and Compliance Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Tax and Compliance Assistant to support the company’s tax filing, regulatory compliance, bookkeeping, and record-keeping activities. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring that tax returns and other compliance requirements are prepared and filed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other government compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping and financial records.
• Assist with the preparation and organization of tax and accounting documents.
• Maintain proper filing and record-keeping of financial and compliance-related documents.
• Assist with other accounting, tax, compliance, and administrative tasks as assigne

Qualifications

• Graduate of a degree or course related to Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in tax-related work, bookkeeping, or accounting support is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic tax compliance and bookkeeping procedures is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial and company information responsibly.

Required Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Computer literate with good knowledge of common office applications and computerized office systems.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
