Tax Assistant Manager

About the role

The Tax Assistant Manager is responsible for managing tax compliance and advisory activities, ensuring adherence to Indonesian tax regulations, and supporting company in addressing tax-related matters. This role oversees tax operations, conducts tax reviews, handles SP2DK and tax audits, implements the Coretax system, and provides strategic tax recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and implement the latest Indonesian tax regulations to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Develop strong understanding of tax operations, including Corporate Income Tax (PPh), Value-Added Tax (VAT/PPN), Annual Tax Returns (SPT Tahunan), as well as the implementation and administration of the Coretax system.
• Handle SP2DK processes and tax audits, including preparing responses, coordinating with the tax authorities, and providing assistance throughout the audit process.
• Conduct tax reviews and develop tax strategies to identify tax risks, optimize compliance, and provide value-added tax solutions.

About you

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in taxation, with experience as a Senior Tax Consultant or in an equivalent role.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian tax regulations and the ability to keep up with the latest tax law developments.
• Holds Brevet A & B or USKP A/B certification.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
