Tax Associate

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Tax Associate to join our team. Duties

• Prepare accurate and timely tax returns for individual clients, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary tax documents and clarify their financial situations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and explaining tax-related matters clearly.
• Assist in the organization and review of tax documents to facilitate efficient preparation processes.
• Utilize tax preparation software to compile, review, and finalize tax filings.
• Support client acquisition efforts by providing knowledgeable guidance on tax services offered.
• Stay informed about updates in tax law to ensure all filings adhere to legal requirements and best practices.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards of tax compliance across all client accounts.

Qualifications

• Prior experience or education related to individual taxation, tax law, or accounting is preferred.
• Proficiency with popular tax preparation software tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple client files.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
• Knowledge of current tax laws and regulations relevant to individual taxpayers.

Pay: $62,300.00 - $75,100.00 per year
