Tax Manager

Job Title: Tax Manager - Fast track to becoming Partner

Requirements/Preferences: CPA preferred, at least 3+ years of Public Accounting, at least 3+ years of Tax Exp. at a CPA firm preferred.

We are urgently looking for Tax Managers who can bring passion and a fresh perspective to the team and are interested in being fast tracked to becoming Partner! We offer a Hybrid Schedule of 1-2 days in the office and the remainder of the week remote!

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare tax projections, tax work-papers and tax returns. Specifically corporate, partnership, fiduciary, estate and individual tax returns.
• Prepare financial statements as well as compilations.
• Handle IRS audits and tax notice responses.
• Provide effective consulting, planning and compliance for your clients.
• Oversee and manage the day to day needs of your clients and tax return process including identification and resolution of tax issues.
• Perform tax research to resolve issues.
• Coordinate with Partner to ensure timeliness and effective communication for proper planning of project.
• Maintain knowledge of new tax issues and general business trends that affect the client.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, Masters in Taxation is preferred, CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive public accounting experience.
• Possess strong technical skills. Experience with CCH Axcess is highly desired.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of managing multiple client engagements.
• A track record of building and sustaining client relationships and high quality client service.
• Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills.
• Familiar with CCH Axcess, Quickbooks, CCH Intelliconnect, Microsoft Office.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $110,000–$140,000, commensurate with experience

• CPE & licensing: Continuing education and license renewal costs covered
