What you'll do:

• Lead compliance work and client relationships while also participating directly in tax strategy and advisory engagements. A likely mix is 50% compliance and 50% advisory

• Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individual and business clients

• Review, and deliver individual, partnership, and S corporation tax returns for clients in a variety of industries

• Consult with clients regarding tax compliance, planning opportunities, and other tax matters

• Identify, research, and resolve tax issues, including complex tax research and projections

• Develop and maintain strong professional client relationships

• Manage tax deadlines, workflow, and engagement budgets for assigned clients

• Manage and develop staff through coaching, technical guidance, and performance feedback

• Lead IRS and state audits and communicate with taxing authorities

• Work directly with senior managers and partners on complex client matters

• Identify and implement opportunities to improve tax processes, workflows, and client service

Potential hybrid (in-person and remote) opportunity for the right, local candidate! We will want you to be in the office full-time initially for training and so you can get to know our team. Once you understand our processes and systems, and integrate with the team, you can work a hybrid schedule where you come into the office 1-2 days a week.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required
• Active CPA, EA  is required
• A desire and ability to think outside of the box is a plus
• Minimum of five full years of tax season experience is required
• Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements is required
• Genuine curiosity about tax law and how it can be used proactively
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service, presentation and PC skills including Microsoft Office and tax software proficiency is required
• The ability to be a team player and desire to help your colleagues grow is required
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is required
• CCH Axcess software proficiency is a plus
• SurePrep software proficiency is a plus

Our compensation package is in the top 5% of the industry. We hire the best, train you well, pay you generously, and want you to stay. This position is a full-time, salaried position.

Base salaries: Your sdalary will be determined by your level of experience and adjusted according to your performance (“performance” is more than the number of hours you work). The more you grow your skills and contribute to Revo’s success, the higher your salary.

Range: $115,000 – $150,000

Bonuses: Tax Managers are eligible for a performance-based annual bonus, with a target bonus of approximately 25% of base salary. The target bonus is generally paid in two installments, approximately 12.5% following the spring busy season and 12.5% following the fall busy season. Bonus awards are based on a combination of individual performance and company performance, with the opportunity to earn above the target for exceptional performance and strong company growth. We are very happy to reward outstanding contributions.

• This full-time position includes full benefits, which take effect after a 90-day probation period. Our benefits package is generous and growing. Benefits for every full-time position are:
