Tax Manager

OVERVIEW

This is unique opportunity for the right candidate who is versatile and can review business and personal returns in tandem with the partner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review individual and small business, corporate, and partnership income tax returns, including consolidated multi-state corporate and multi-tier partnership income tax returns
• Review corporate and individual estimated income tax calculations
• Making phone calls to IRS as needed
• Maintain general knowledge of new tax laws, rulings, and cases

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Five (5) or more years of prior California and Federal relevant tax experience
• REQUIRED: CPA certification, or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (“EA”)
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite preferred
• Experience with tax research databases and tax compliance process software preferred
• Possession of other professional degrees or certifications applicable to role preferred

• Strong analytical, research and critical thinking skills as well as decision-making skills
• Capacity to work well either alone or in a team environment
• Ability to collaborate well with other CPAs, partner, and enrolled agents
• Capable of effectively developing and maintaining client relationships

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday - Onsite

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
