Tax Manager (Mandarin Speaker)

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the company's tax compliance and reporting in accordance with applicable Indonesian tax regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of monthly and annual tax returns.
• Monitor tax regulations and assess their impact on the company's business operations.
• Manage tax audits, tax disputes, tax assessments, and correspondence with the relevant tax authorities.
• Provide tax advice and recommendations to management and relevant business functions.
• Support tax planning and optimization initiatives while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Review tax implications of business transactions, agreements, and company activities.
• Coordinate with external tax consultants, auditors, and other relevant parties when required.
• Monitor tax payments, reconciliations, and tax-related financial records.
• Identify potential tax risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in taxation, with experience in a managerial or supervisory role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and tax compliance.
• Experience in handling tax audits, tax assessments, and tax disputes is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English; both written and spoken.
• Strong proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia, particularly for handling Indonesian tax regulations and communication with local stakeholders.
• Experience in the logistics, transportation, e-commerce, retail, or other fast-paced industries is an advantage.
• Professional tax certification such as Brevet A & B is preferred.
