What they need
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns (corporate, VAT, payroll taxes, etc.) in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date records of tax documents, filings, and correspondence with tax authorities.
- Ensure timely payment of taxes to avoid penalties or interest charges.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring company compliance.
- Assist in developing tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position and reduce liabilities.
- Provide advice on the tax implications of business decisions and transactions (e.g., mergers, acquisitions, investments).
- Support in identifying opportunities for tax deductions, credits, and incentives.
- Prepare and maintain all supporting documentation for tax audits.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all tax filings, payments, and related documents and e nsure that tax-related documents are easily accessible for audit and reporting purposes.
- Work with internal departments (e.g., accounting, legal, finance) to ensure accurate reporting of financial data and tax filings.
