Tax Preparer

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in tax preparation and client service. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided starting Tuesday, September 29, 2026. The role involves assisting with the preparation of tax returns, maintaining organized client files, and supporting the overall tax filing process in a professional environment. Candidates must obtain a PTIN or currently possess one to qualify for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing individual and small business tax returns under supervision.
• Securely file and organize client documents in a designated file cabinet to ensure confidentiality and easy access.
• Support the team in gathering necessary financial information from clients.
• Follow training instructions and adhere to established procedures for accurate tax filing.
• Maintain organized records of client information and completed work.
• Obtain a PTIN or ensure current registration before beginning work.

Requirements

• No prior experience needed; training will be provided.
• Ability to secure and maintain client files in an organized manner.
• Must obtain a PTIN or currently have one before starting employment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions during training sessions starting on 09/29/2026.
