Tax Preparer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Tax Preparer (Tax Associate) to join our tax team in Ellicott City, MD (Onsite). The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of recent hands-on tax preparation experience, with a strong background in public accounting and experience working with high-net-worth clients.

This role is focused strictly on preparing tax returns, including individual, trust, estate, partnership, corporate, and payroll tax returns. The successful candidate should be comfortable handling complex tax matters, communicating directly with clients, gathering necessary information, and providing timely, high-quality service. Experience with 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 706, payroll tax forms, and Maryland Personal Property Tax Returns is highly preferred. CPA or EA is preferred but not required.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of recent tax return preparation experience
• CPA or EA is preferred
• Tax review experience is not required — this is strictly a tax preparation role
• Must have hands-on experience preparing:
• 1040 – Individual Tax Returns
• 1041 – Trust and Estate Income Tax Returns
• 1065 – Partnership Tax Returns
• 1120 – C-Corporation Tax Returns
• 706 – Estate Tax Returns
• Payroll Tax Returns
• Experience working with and interacting with High-Net-Worth (HNW) clients
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
