Interested in learning tax preparation and creating an additional income opportunity? Boss Tax Academy is accepting students for our six-week training program.

This posting is for a paid training academy, not an immediate job opening. Upon the start of tax season, participants will have the opportunity to partner with RAP Financial Services as a Professional Tax Preparer. Enrollment does not guarantee employment, a partnership, clients, or income.

What You’ll Learn

• Tax preparer responsibilities and professional ethics.
• Filing status and dependents.
• Common tax credits, income, and deductions.
• Due diligence and client documentation.
• Tax preparation software and practice returns.
• Client onboarding and marketing your services.

Training Schedule

• Live orientation: November 2, 2026, at 6 p.m. Eastern.
• Six-week training: November 4–December 9, 2026.
• Weekly live sessions: Wednesdays at 6 p.m. Eastern.
• Self-paced coursework completed between live sessions.

Who Should Apply

We welcome beginners, aspiring tax professionals, and individuals interested in learning a skill to earn additional income or work toward opening their own tax office.

Ideal participants are detail-oriented, willing to learn, comfortable using a computer, and committed to handling client information professionally.

Training Fees

This is a fee-based training program. Total fees depend on your selected Tax Boss Package. An enrollment down payment is submitted through the partner application, and the remaining balance is due by October 27, 2026. Enrollment Fees Start at Just $97
