What would you do You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.Statutory Reporting Tax Compliance involves preparation and filing of complex tax returns, prepares monthly/quarterly calculations/ workpapers, recording and reporting of tax transactions and effective tax rate reconciliation. Tax experience in Federal/ State/ International Tax returns Tax Process Design, OneSource experience and proficiency keyword includes:- ("Statutory Reporting","Tax Compliance" "Corporate Tax" Return",Federal,State", International Tax "State Tax Return"This is the process of generating financial statements in accordance with client policies and statutory requirements. Activities include IFRS to local GAAP reconciliation, updating notes accounts, XBRL tagging, preparing tax packs etc.
What are we looking for
Qualifications:Chartered Accountant (CA)Experience:3 - 5 years of experience in statutory audit and reporting.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.Proficiency in Oracle ERP (preferred).Exposure to Workiva software (good to have).Extensive MS Office experienceAn understanding of the statutory reporting process, internal and external reporting requirements.
Roles Responsibilities: In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of increasingly complex problemsYour day to day interactions are with peers within AccentureYou are likely to have some interaction with clients and/or Accenture managementYou will be given minimal instruction on daily work/tasks and Prepare annual statutory accounts for assigned legal entities in compliance with local GAAP.Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion and filing of statutory accounts.Develop audit schedules, reconciliations, and support documentation.Liaise with Business Units, Legal, Corporate, Treasury, HR, and Payroll teams to provide auditors with necessary information and approvals.Application of IFRS/local GAAP in resolving complex issues in the entitiesDraft financial statements and disclosures in accordance with statutory requirements.Prepare and support annual legal entity returns, collaborating with tax and corporate advisors to meet filing deadlines.Address queries raised by directors during financial statement reviews and obtain required approvals.Work with the Tax team to finalize tax disclosures and calculations.Post statutory adjustments in Oracle to align local statutory accounts with the accounting system, including retained earnings reconciliations.a moderate level of instruction on new assignmentsDecisions that are made by you impact your own work and may impact the work of othersIn this role you would be an individual contributor and/or oversee a small work effort and/or teamPlease note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
