Tax Senior

Overview

The Tax Senior at Catalyst Family Office demonstrates consistent proficiency as a tax team member across a range of projects and is now taking increased ownership for the management and implementation of projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and consulting services to individuals, trusts, partnerships and not-for-profit clients.
• Assist tax interns and tax associates.
• Identify tax planning and consulting opportunities.
• Bring unusual or significant tax questions to the attention of the manager or partner.
• Tackle increasingly complex accounting and/or tax issues.
• Remain knowledgeable with up-to-date on industry developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or Master’s in Taxation preferred.
• 3 years or more full time work tax compliance experience in individual, partnership, trust and not-for-profit entities.
• Proficiency in common tax technology preparation and reporting software (BNA Income Tax Planner, Checkpoint RIA, CCH Axcess Tax, MS Office(advanced excel capabilities).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to details.
• Good communication skills.
• A desire to contribute, learn, and grow at Catalyst Family Office.

• The compensation range for this role is $100,000K/yr. – $145,000K/yr. Final compensation will be tailored to the candidate's unique combination of skills, professional experience, and qualifications, as well as geographic location.
