Tax Supervisor

Tax Supervisor is responsible in supervising the tax reporting and tax compliance of the team. A Tax Supervisor ensures the completion of accurate returns and schedules in order to minimize the tax obligations and risks of the Group.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform Final Reviews of Tax Returns

• Review all working papers and returns prepared by Tax Analysts & Coordinators prior to filing and payment

Produce the Volume of Work Required within Specific Time Periods; With Respect to Acceptable Budget and Time Realization

• Ensure that all tax returns are filed before the BIR deadline

Address Requirements of Bir and External Audits

• Secure and provide documents and schedules required by BIR and external auditors
• Coordinate with external auditors during audit

Work Closely with Staff, Providing Coaching, Mentoring and Supervision

• Guide and mentor Tax Analysts in handling compliance work, and other tax related tasks

Participates In Group Business Development Activities

• Provide high-level analysis of tax trends provided by Analysts to aid management in its business decisions.
• Conduct tax research/studies to support advisory function for internal clients
• Oversee and finalize internal tax audits to determine proper compliance of BUs

Job Requirements:

• With at least 3 years’ experience in Tax practice and with at least 1 year supervisory position
• Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
• CPA Board Passer or CTT
