Summary/Objective

The Custodian is responsible for performing janitorial and basic facility maintenance services at assigned locations. This role ensures a clean, safe, and sanitary environment while supporting high-quality service delivery for customers.

Major Work Duties

Essential Job Functions

• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms and common areas using approved chemicals
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
• Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum assigned areas
• Perform floor care and general facility cleaning tasks
• Clean windows and interior surfaces as assigned
• Remove indoor debris and maintain orderly spaces
• Sweep walkways and maintain exterior entry areas as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning materials
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to management

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks

• Ability to lift and carry at least 30 pounds

• Ability to use hands and arms for extended periods during cleaning tasks

Required Education and Experience

• No formal education required

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required
