Are you an experienced Geoscientist, ready for a unique opportunity to grow with an environmental state agency?

WE ARE TCEQ Join our team of professional Geoscientists at TCEQ, where protecting the environment is at the heart of everything we do. Our goal is clean air, clean water, and the safe management of waste.

TCEQ Geoscientists will support initiatives in the Office of Waste (Superfund, remediation, radioactive materials, or underground wells) and Office of Water (groundwater or surface water). This role will conduct or oversee geological, geochemical, geohydrological, and geophysical field studies and surveys; gather samples; and analyze and interpret information to support sustainable water resource management and regulatory efforts.

GEOSCIENTIST HIRING PROGRAM This program aims to establish a pool of applicants suitable for filling TCEQ Geoscientist positions.

How does the Geoscientist Hiring Program work? Hiring supervisors in the Austin Central Office, or any of TCEQ¿s sixteen regional offices, may request candidates with specific geology experience and work location preferences from the Geoscientist hiring pool.
