What they need
- Curate and develop an exceptional and diverse tea collection, sourcing unique and high-quality leaves from around the globe.
- Design and execute bespoke tea tasting experiences, educating guests on flavor profiles, origins, and brewing techniques.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive tea knowledge, staying abreast of industry trends, new varietals, and sustainable sourcing practices.
- Train and mentor staff on proper tea preparation, service standards, and the art of tea appreciation.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Degree or extensive formal training in hospitality, culinary arts, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in high-end hospitality, luxury retail, or specialized tea establishments.
- Demonstrated expertise in global tea varietals, cultivation, processing, and regional characteristics.
