About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Tea Master to join our team in a full-time capacity at our Sathon Bangkok location. As Tea Master, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tea production, quality control, and process optimisation within our manufacturing operations. This is a strategic role that directly impacts product excellence and operational efficiency, making it essential to the success of our business in the competitive tea manufacturing sector.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all stages of tea processing, from leaf selection through to final packaging, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain consistency and excellence across all tea products.
• Train and mentor production staff on tea processing techniques, safety protocols, and quality assurance procedures
• Monitor and maintain processing equipment, identifying maintenance needs and coordinating repairs to minimise production downtime.
• Conduct regular taste testing and sensory evaluation of tea batches to ensure product quality meets specifications.
• Manage inventory of raw tea materials and finished products, optimising storage conditions to preserve quality.
• Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely procurement of quality tea leaves and materials.
• Document production processes, maintain detailed records, and prepare reports on production metrics and quality outcomes.
• Implement process improvements and innovations to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the production facility

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience working in tea production or tea manufacturing, with proven expertise in tea processing and quality assessment
• In-depth knowledge of different tea varieties, processing methods, fermentation processes, and flavour profiling
• Demonstrated experience in quality control and quality assurance within a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to train and motivate production staff
• Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and manufacturing compliance requirements
• Proficiency in equipment operation and maintenance within tea processing facilities
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills for sensory evaluation and product consistency
• Strong communication skills in English and Thai; additional languages are advantageous
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, and logistics coordination is highly desirable
• Certification or formal training in tea production, tea tasting, or related disciplines is preferred.
