Tea Room Assistant

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Prepare and serve a variety of teas, beverages, and light food items with precision and care
• Assist in food preparation tasks, ensuring all offerings meet food safety standards
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and organization of the serving area
• Support the setup and cleanup of the tea room, including replenishing supplies and maintaining hygiene protocols
• Engage with guests to enhance their experience by offering recommendations and answering questions about menu items
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to catering, food handling, and hospitality practices

Requirements

• Previous experience in catering or hospitality environments is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and standards is essential
• Experience in barista roles is preferred but training can be provided.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Basic food preparation skills with attention to detail
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn about food service operations

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
