About the role
Position: 25 hours per week, School term time, Fixed-term
New Plymouth Boys' High School is seeking a Teacher's Aide to join our Learning Centre - Te Haumaru. This is a fixed-term position with an immediate start or by negotiation until 13 December 2026. The hours of work will be linked to when the school is open for instruction.
Key responsibilities
- Work with teenagers in a learning support capacity
About you
- Enjoys working with teenagers
- Has empathy
- Able to work as part of a team
- Training and/or experience in working with students with special educational needs would be an advantage
- Must have NZ Residency or a valid NZ work visa
