Teacher Assistant

We are looking for a Preschool Teacher Assistant who will work closely with the Lead Teacher to provide a safe, loving, and engaging environment for young children. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and is patient, responsible, and a positive team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson plans.
• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Help children with meals, snacks, toileting, diapering, and nap routines as needed.
• Participate in play, art, music, reading, and other age-appropriate activities.
• Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Assist with classroom preparation and cleanup.
• Communicate respectfully with teachers, families, and other staff.
• Follow all health, safety, and daycare licensing requirements.
• Provide children with patience, encouragement, and positive guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous childcare or preschool experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Must be dependable, patient, caring, and responsible.
• Ability to work well with children and as part of a team.
• Must meet all state childcare licensing requirements.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
