Duties

• Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum plans tailored to students’ unique needs.
• Provide classroom support by helping with lesson preparation, instructional activities, and classroom management strategies.
• Support students with behavior management techniques and support.
• Collaborate with other school professionals to ensure comprehensive student support.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.

Skills

• Experience working with individuals in classroom or childcare settings.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques.
• Proficiency in behavior management strategies tailored for students education needs.
• Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and basic academic skills such as basic math concepts.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents and other professionals.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while supporting diverse student populations.
• Experience working with children or in a school setting.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
