Teacher Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support teachers in creating a positive learning environment for students, particularly those with special needs or disabilities. This role involves assisting with classroom management, providing individualized support to students, and fostering a nurturing atmosphere conducive to childhood development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Provide support to students with special education needs, ensuring their participation in classroom activities.
• Help manage classroom behavior and promote positive interactions among students.
• Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and other activities.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and adapt instructional strategies as needed.
• Support the emotional and social development of children through effective communication and interaction.
• Assist in organizing educational materials and resources for lessons.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting is essential.
• A background in early childhood education or childhood development is preferred.
• Familiarity with special education practices and behavior management techniques is advantageous.
• First aid certification is a plus, ensuring readiness for any emergencies that may arise.
• Previous experience in daycare, toddler care, or infant care will be beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff members.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for nurturing young minds are crucial attributes for success in this role.
