Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable Teaching Assistant to support classroom instruction and student development. The Teaching Assistant will work closely with lead teachers to implement lessons, provide one-on-one and small group support, and help create a safe, positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instructional activities, classroom management, and individualized support.
• Work directly with students to reinforce lessons, build academic skills, and encourage independence.
• Support students in social, emotional, and life skill development.
• Help monitor student behavior and provide redirection or assistance as needed.
• Prepare and organize classroom materials and resources.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth.
• Supervise students during classroom, transitions, lunch, and activities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in education or related field preferred.
• Experience working with children or young adults, especially those with diverse learning needs, strongly preferred.
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
