Teacher Assistant

Bring your energy, creativity, and love of learning to IE STEM! We’re seeking a caring Teacher Assistant to support our classroom teachers and help children feel safe, included, and excited to explore.

We’ll help you develop new STEM skills and build confidence supporting hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math activities.

You will:

Assist with preparing materials and implementing classroom activities.

Work with children individually and in small groups to reinforce learning.
Support social and emotional development and provide extra help for children with individual learning needs.
Observe children’s progress and share updates with the classroom teacher.
Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, play, and field trips.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom.

We’re looking for:

A high school diploma or GED.

One year of teaching assistant experience preferred.
An energetic, patient approach and a love of working with children.
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Our founder, a licensed behavior specialist who presents workshops for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, provides classroom management guidance and support.
