Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct individualized learning and developmental activities.
• Ensure child safety, supervision and active engagement.
• Prepare lesson plans and maintain progress/observation records.
• Monitor and document each childs development and behaviour.
• Communicate progress and concerns to the Centre Head and parents as per guidelines.
• Prepare teaching aids and maintain classroom materials.
• Attend teacher meetings and training sessions.
• Handle behavioural challenges appropriately and report incidents promptly.
• Maintain classroom discipline, cleanliness and proper documentation.
• Follow BLC SOPs, HR policies and management instructions.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification in Special Education / Montessori / Early Childhood Education / Primary Education or a related field.
• Experience working with children with developmental or learning needs will be an advantage.
• Good communication, patience, empathy and classroom management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, teachers and Centre Head.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to individualized teaching approaches.
