Teacher

Wakatipu High School’s vision is for Aotearoa New Zealand’s best all-round education. We are looking for a great educator to join our collaborative and forward-thinking school. The successful applicant will be excited by the opportunity to deliver a future-focused and holistic education in a flexible learning environment - they will be pedagogically progressive, student-centred, have a growth mindset, form effective relationships, and be ready to contribute to the all-round education of our students.

We are seeking teachers across a range of subject areas for 2027 to support a number of Board-funded projects and Provisionally Certificated Teacher (PCT) release time. New Zealand teaching experience and the ability to teach in more than one subject area would be an advantage. Please state your specialist subject(s) in your application.

Wakatipu High School is a well-resourced, co-educational school with a growing roll of more than 1600 students, situated in Queenstown in the stunning Wakatipu Basin.
