Sunshine Academy Childcare Center is looking for an experienced, dependable, and passionate Childcare Teacher to join our team!

Do you love working with children and creating a safe, fun, and educational environment? We are looking for a dedicated teacher who has experience working in a licensed childcare setting and is ready to make a positive impact on young children's lives.

Position Responsibilities

The Childcare Teacher will be responsible for:

• Providing a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children
• Planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities
• Following daily schedules and classroom routines
• Supervising children at all times
• Maintaining a clean and organized classroom
• Completing daily documentation and reports
• Communicating professionally with parents and coworkers
• Assisting children with meals, diapering, toileting, and other daily needs as necessary
• Following all Sunshine Academy policies and procedures
• Following Wisconsin childcare licensing requirements
• Participating in staff meetings and required training
• Working as a positive and dependable member of our team

Qualifications

Ideal candidates should:

• Have previous experience working in a childcare or early childhood education setting
• Be dependable, responsible, and professional
• Have a genuine love for working with children
• Be able to work well as part of a team
• Have strong communication skills
• Be able to maintain a positive and patient attitude
• Meet Wisconsin childcare licensing and background check requirements
• Have the required childcare certifications and training, or be willing to complete required training

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is reliable, motivated, experienced, and passionate about early childhood education. Attendance and dependability are extremely important for this position.

Experience in a licensed childcare center is preferred.
