Child Care Teacher – Come Grow With Us at Little Lamb

We’re looking for a warm, dependable child care teacher to join our Little Lamb family.

We’re not looking for someone who just wants to clock in, get through the day, and go home. We want someone who genuinely loves being with children — someone who will get down on the floor and play, give hugs, sing silly songs, read books, create, explore, comfort a child who is having a hard day, and make our children feel loved and safe while they are away from their families.

We also want someone who is looking for a place to stay and become part of the team.

Child care isn't always easy. There are busy days, challenging children, personality differences, changes, and days when everyone is tired. We want someone who can work through those things, communicate, be a team player, and not give up the minute something isn't perfect.

At Little Lamb, we believe childhood should be fun. Our program is play-based and Montessori-inspired, and we want teachers who are creative and engaged — not teachers who spend the day sitting back and watching the children play. We want you playing, talking, teaching, creating and building relationships with them.

• Understand that caring for children means being actively engaged throughout the day
• Want to work somewhere that feels more personal than a large corporate child care center

Experience in child care is a plus, and education in Early Childhood is wonderful, but who you are as a person matters tremendously to us. We can teach a lot of things. We can't teach someone to genuinely love children, have a strong work ethic, or care about the people they work with.

Little Lamb has been caring for children and families for many years, and we have staff members who have been with us for years as well. We're hoping to find someone who wants to become one of them.
