Delphi Academy of Florida is a private, non-sectarian, competency-based Preschool - High School in Clearwater, Florida. We have doubled our enrollment and student body over the last few years with a large waiting list of families to enter our school. We are hiring more teachers for long term employment with a great group of co-workers to continue and enhance our student experience.

Teacher Duties and Responsibilities

• Past experience teaching groups of young children ages 4-14 years old.

• Provide a positive educational environment for children to learn and grow.

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet education standards

• Facilitate classroom activities and discussions

• Monitor student progress and provide feedback

• Maintain student records, including attendance and grades

• Communicate with parents about student progress

• Utilize technology to enhance learning and teaching

• Participate in professional development activities

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years past experience teaching groups of children

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation

• A great communicator with children and adults, and able to build lasting relationships

• Patient, creative, energetic, kind and loving

• Able to provide a positive educational environment for the children to learn and grow

• Computer savvy and can update online classroom pages

• Passionate about education and teaching

• High School diploma

Pay: $42,000.00 - $44,400.00 per year
