Peninsula Catholic Regional School is seeking a Virginia State Certified Math Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about teaching Math while serving as a positive role model and supporting the mission of Catholic education. The ideal candidate will foster a love of learning, create a welcoming classroom environment, and inspire students to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Peninsula Catholic High School seeks an innovative, collaborative, and experiencedfull-time math teacher (Algebra 2, Geometry, and above) for the 2026-2027 school yearwho has an enthusiasm for youth, skills for effective integration of technology in the classroom, and a desire to be part of a community with over a 120-year history of excellence in Catholic education.

Responsibilities:

• Foster a community of faith by applying Catholic doctrine, integrating beliefs into classroom life, and supporting students' spiritual development.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Manage classroom dynamics to foster a positive learning environment.
• Assess student performance through testing and provide individualized support as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional design and curriculum development.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to promote educational goals.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with teaching methodologies and advancements.

Qualifications

• Virginia State teaching certification (or eligibility for certification) in Math.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to integrate Catholic values into the educational environment.
• Commitment to the mission and philosophy of Catholic education.
