About the role

Due to ongoing growth in enrolments, TSI International School (Bearing Campus) is seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, well-qualified and committed Thai Language and Culture teacher to teach non-native students in Years 7-10. Contact time for this position will be approximately 22 out of 30 periods/week. This position is ideal for a Thai teacher who wants to learn about the UK/IGCSE curriculum and assessment processes. All TSI teachers are responsible for the academic progress and the general pastoral care of students in our school. Our team works collaboratively and participates fully in day-to-day school life.

Key responsibilities and Qualifications

• Teach Thai Language and Culture to non-native speakers in Years 7-10.
• Applicants for teaching positions must be qualified with at least a Bachelor Degree major in Education OR a Bachelor Degree related to Thai Language and teaching license from the Thai Ministry of Education. Those with recent teaching experience in an international school environment are encouraged to apply.
• Applicants should be able to demonstrate how they deliver engaging lessons which cater for non-native Thai speakers of varying abilities.
• All applicants must be able to communicate effectively in spoken and written English in an International School environment.

Founded in 1985, TSI International School is one of Bangkok’s first international schools. TSI is a non-profit school governed by a charitable foundation. In 2017, the school changed management and over the past 9 years has gone from strength to strength. At our Secondary School, students have achieved excellent IGCSE and A-Level exam results in recent years and are now studying at universities all around the world. Our Bearing Campus is ideally located a few minutes from Bearing BTS station.
