Position Details St John's School is a co-educational primary school from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six, serving families in the Dominican tradition. We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and dedicated part time early childhood teacher to join our collaborative team. The successful applicant will be passionate about education, committed to excellence, and supportive of the Catholic ethos of our school.

Selection Criteria The successful applicants will demonstrate:

Must be prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties;

• Be an exemplary, enthusiastic educator who demonstrates a willingness to collaborate with all staff as part of a professional learning community;
• A comprehensive knowledge of the West Australian Curriculum with the ability to organise, select and design content for effective teaching and differentiated learning;
• Demonstrates the ability to use data to inform practice based on evidence-based research;
• Knowledge and use of high impact strategies in their teaching practice;
• An inclusive teacher who can support students with diverse learning, social and cultural needs through the constant promotion of safety and wellbeing;
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create a supportive and safe environment;
• Understands the importance of developing positive relationships with children, staff and parents and can demonstrate evidence of such actions.
• Demonstrates a sound understanding of the content and pedagogy necessary to teach and assess the Australian Curriculum and NQS, and (if applicable) EYLF and ECE documents and Play Based Education.
• A sense of humour, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching, with high expectations for both self and students.

Qualifications Required 4 Year Trained ECE Teacher

• Current Working With Children Check Card
• Full TRBWA registration
• Accreditation to Teach RE in a Catholic school or working towards
