Summary

The Governing Body of Walton-Le-Dale Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and nurturing Teaching Assistant to work in EYFS. The role will involve working with individual children as well as supporting small groups to support the education, personal and social development of pupils, including those with special needs.

  The hours are 8.45am - 3.15pm Monday to Friday with an hour off for lunch.

Essential Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 qualification or above appropriate to the post (or equivalent)

Desirable Qualifications

Paediatric First Aid Level 3

Essential Experience

Experience of working with or caring for children

Desirable Experience

• Experience of working in a classroom environment

• Experience of working in EYFS

• Experience of supporting pupils with special needs

• Experience of delivering a synthetic phonics scheme
