About the Role

At Park School, we're looking for compassionate, resilient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our specialist team supporting students with Autism and additional learning needs.

This is more than a Teaching Assistant role. It's an opportunity to help young people build confidence, develop independence, overcome barriers and celebrate achievements that can be life-changing.

No previous school experience? That's okay. If you have experience supporting others, a positive attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

  • Building positive, trusted relationships that enable students to thrive
  • Working alongside teachers to deliver engaging and personalised learning experiences
  • Supporting students' social, emotional and behavioural development
  • Collaborating with therapists and specialist staff to achieve the best outcomes
  • Promoting student wellbeing, safety and positive learning behaviours

  • Caring, patient and passionate about helping young people succeed
  • Positive, resilient and able to build strong relationships

About us

Park School is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 7 to 18, catering for students with a wide range of social, emotional and mental health needs. Our dedicated team work together to ensure successful outcomes for students who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.

We pride ourselves in steering students in the right direction, nurturing aspiration to progress them both academically and socially to encourage them to take pride in their achievements. Socially, we build confidence in our students, so they are able to have a greater understanding of the wider community in which they live.

At Outcomes First Schools, we provide specialist education for learners who need a deeper level of understanding, expertise and support than mainstream education can typically offer. We support students with a wide range of complex, co-occurring and neurodivergent needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and communication needs, dyslexia and experiences of trauma or adversity.

We are proud to be a part of OFG Education who in 2025 were officially certified as a ‘Great Place to Work’ for the sixth year running.

Why Join Us?

We place students and vulnerable young adults at the heart of everything we do, so every day brings the satisfaction of making a real difference. We are committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students and young people. All applicants will be subject to social media checks and successful applicants to a fully enhanced DBS.
