This posting is for one unionized contractual appointments. A Teaching Assistant is a Graduate Student employed to assist the Course Supervisor as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom environment. Teaching Assistant Positions are governed by the Collective Agreement between McGill University and the Association of Graduate Students Employed at McGill (AGSEM) .

Position Summary:

This requisition is for one position, at 45 hours for the term, in the Department Kinesiology and Physical Education . Course dates are January 5, 2027 to April 14, 2027. Effective dates of appointment are December 28, 2026 to April 30, 2027.

Required Duties :

• Be available to answer student e-mails relating to questions about the course material or content.
• Assist instructor with posting content to MyCourses.
• Be available to assist the instructor on other course related issues should they arise.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate (master’s or PhD) student enrolled at McGill University, ideally the Kinesiology and Physical Education program.
• Strong knowledge of exercise physiology/biochemistry/metabolism
• Attention to detail & accuracy
• Knowledge of grading process
• Familiarity with course content.
• English, spoken and written. French, spoken and written, is an asset
