Milk Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work within welcoming primary schools across Sheffield.

We are looking for candidates with previous UK-based school experience who are passionate about supporting children’s learning, building confidence and making a real difference in the classroom.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons.
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils to develop their learning.
• Assisting children with literacy, numeracy and wider classroom activities.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND, where required.
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Promoting positive behaviour, confidence and independence.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Have previous UK-based school experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar classroom support role.
• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or have relevant experience.
• Be passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Be patient, reliable and adaptable.
• Be confident supporting pupils in a busy primary school environment.
