“Shine and make a difference”

Welcome to All Saints.
We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Support Assistant to join our team at All Saints’ CE Primary School.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive difference to their learning, confidence and wellbeing. You will work alongside our teachers and wider school team to help children feel valued, included and successful.

We are looking for someone who brings kindness, positivity and high expectations, who can build strong relationships with children and who is keen to learn and develop their skills. You don't need to know everything from day one, we value the right attitude, a willingness to learn

and a genuine desire to help children shine.

The Role:
You will work closely with class teachers and colleagues to support children in their learning and development. This may include working with individuals or small groups, supporting children with SEND, helping children access learning and encouraging them to become confident and independent learners.

Every day will be different, and you will be an important part of helping our children enjoy school, overcome barriers and achieve their best.

What We Are Looking For:

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Enjoy working with children and have a caring, positive approach.
  • Can build warm and trusting relationships with children and adults.
  • Can support children individually, in small groups and as part of a class.
  • Are patient, calm and encouraging, with positive expectations of children.
  • Can follow guidance from teachers and work well as part of a team.
  • Are willing to learn, develop and adapt your approach to meet children's individual needs.
  • Have good communication and organisational skills.
  • Understand the importance of safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion.
  • Have GCSE Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent, in English and Maths.

Experience of working with children in Early Years and/or Key Stage 1 would be desirable, as would experience of supporting children with SEND. However, we are very happy to consider applicants who can demonstrate the right attitude, skills and enthusiasm for the role.

First aid training would be welcomed, or we would be happy to support the successful candidate to undertake relevant training.

Why Join All Saints’?

At All Saints’, you will be joining a friendly and supportive team who genuinely care about our children and each other.

We can offer:

  • An Ofsted Outstanding school with a strong sense of community.
  • Wonderful children who are at the heart of everything we do.
  • A warm, supportive and collaborative staff team.
  • A strong Christian ethos based on kindness, respect and positive relationships.
  • Opportunities to develop your skills and experience.
  • A clear TA Level 1–3 progression pathway and opportunities to work towards HLTA.
  • An excellent staff wellbeing package, including a wellbeing day.
  • Flexible working benefits and staff insurance.
  • The opportunity to make a genuine difference every day.

Come and Meet Us:
We warmly encourage prospective applicants to visit our school and meet the team before applying. We want you to get a real feel for All Saints’ and see what makes our school such a special place to work.

If you are enthusiastic, caring and ready to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.

To apply: Please complete the application form and return it to

[email protected]

Safeguarding and Equality:
All Saints’ CE Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be required to complete the appropriate pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

We are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates.

Help our children to SHINE and make a difference.
