TEAM CDL DRIVER

Duties

• Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other equipment when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity and proper handling
• Deliver refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, or specialized freight to various locations while maintaining product quality and safety standards
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before hitting the road
• Manage route driving responsibilities with precision, optimizing delivery schedules for efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate load assignments, troubleshoot issues on the road, and ensure seamless operations
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, load details, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal regulations

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for tanker, flatbed, or refrigerated trailer operation
• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route management
• Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks with a strong understanding of tractor-trailer systems
• Experience working with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks or similar equipment is highly desirable
• Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or manual methods when required
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to freight transportation and vehicle maintenance
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving on the road
