Team Gymnastics Coach

Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging gymnastics training programs tailored to different skill levels and age groups
• Lead group and individual coaching sessions, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed at all times
• Foster a motivating environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth
• Monitor athlete progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to support improvement
• Maintain a safe training environment by enforcing safety standards and emergency procedures, including AED operation and first aid/CPR readiness
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and team members regarding training schedules, progress updates, and behavioral expectations
• Assist in organizing team events, competitions, and showcases to promote team spirit and community engagement

Skills

• Proven experience in sports coaching or team leadership within gymnastics or related disciplines such as martial arts, cheerleading, or climbing
• Strong background in physical education teaching or sports-specific training instruction
• Excellent communication skills for effective client (athlete and parent) interaction
• Knowledge of health club operations, gym safety standards, and behavior management techniques
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and child safety protocols are highly desirable
• Experience working with children or youth in a coaching or childcare setting
• Familiarity with various sports such as soccer, basketball, karate (judo), or cheerleading enhances versatility in coaching style

Pay: $22.52 - $27.12 per hour
