Team Lead - Assembly

Superior Industries is seeking a disciplined and proactive Assembly Team Lead to oversee our production operations. This role is designed for a strategic thinker who can balance technical oversight with the professional development of a diverse manufacturing team.

Location: Belen, NM | 80 Don Luis Trujillo Blvd

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 5:00pm

Job Description An Assembly Team Lead is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Operational Oversight: Execute comprehensive management of the Assembly Department, integrating people, specialized processes, and strategic planning to meet production targets.
• Safety Leadership: Facilitate daily safety briefings to ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and maintain a culture of collective accountability.
• Workflow Coordination: Synchronize the daily deployment of personnel, technical data, and materials to optimize throughput and minimize operational downtime.
• Process Excellence: Champion Continuous Improvement initiatives to refine assembly methodologies and enhance overall departmental efficiency.
• Talent & Team Management: Lead the full lifecycle of personnel development, including talent acquisition, technical training, and objective performance evaluations.
• Strategic Alignment: Translate organizational objectives into actionable daily tasks, ensuring the team remains focused on quality and delivery milestones.
• Adaptive Responsibility: Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by management to support evolving business requirements.
