UK Finance Team Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance operations.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Review accruals, prepayments, journals, and ledger reconciliations.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and VAT.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and support process improvements.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of UK accounting and finance processes.
• Experience in month-end close, GL, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of VAT and statutory compliance.
• Strong analytical, communication, and team management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).

Preferred Experience

• Experience in the staffing/recruitment industry.
• Exposure to contractor payroll, client invoicing, vendor payments, and intercompany accounting.
• Having knowledge of Finance Software like Netsuite, Jobdiva, Client portals.
